RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
FOR THE EXTTENSION OF DALTON AVENUE, DALTON WAY AND DALTON COURT
CITY PROJECT NO.2006 -ISC
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted June 12, 2006, a report has been
prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc. with reference to the extension of Dalton Avenue, Dalton Court
and Dalton Way within the Otter Creek Industrial Park by the construction of a 44' wide urban
section roadway with curb and gutter, bituminous pathway, utility improvements, storm sewer and
other necessary appurtenant work and this report was received by the Monticello City Council on
July 24, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary,
cost - effective said feasible,

1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and
the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of
$1,331,900.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 10 day of August, 2006
in the Council Chambers of City Mall at 7 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published
notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
