RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDER ADVER'T`ISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS
FOR GROVELAND PARK
CITY PROJECT NO. 2006-27C
DE S, The Park Superintendent for the City of Monticello has prepared final plans and
specifications for the construction of parking lot improvements for the Groveland Park and such
plans and specifications have been presented to the City Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED BY THE CHT COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MEMES07A:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
2. An advertisement for bids shall be prepared and inserted in the official newspaper for the
making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published at least twice not less than two weeks before the date sct
for opening bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly
opened on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Monticello City Hall and that
no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a
cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the Clerk for 5% of
the amount of such bid.
