RESOLUTION NO. 2006-82
APPROVE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ADVER'T'ISE FOR BIDS
GROVELAND PARK -- PARKING LOT IMPROVEMEN'T'S
PROJECT NO. 2006-27C
WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the City Council, the Parks Superintendent has prepared plans
and specifications for the improvement of Groveland Park by the construction of a bituminous parking
lot and appurtenant work and has presented such plans and specifications to the City Council for
approval;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT BERES Y RESOL VED BI' THE Cl" COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, are
hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for
bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans anal specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for one day, small specify the work to be done, shall state that
bids will be opened on September 21, 2006 at 2 p.m. and that the responsibility of the bidders
will be considered by the Council on September 25, 2006 at 7 p.m. at the city hall. Any bidder
whose responsibility is questioned during the consideration of the bid will be given an
opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the clerk and accompanied by deposit as set forth in bid
specifications.
