RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
2007 CORE STREET IMPROVEMENT
CITY PROJECT NO.2007 -OIC
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the balance of Area #3 as identified in the Overall Street
Reconstruction study which includes River Street, Craig Lane, Kenneth Lane, Hillcrest Road,
Hillcrest Circle, Hilltop Drive and Matthew Circle by street widening and street reconstruction,
construction of curb and gutter, drainage and storm sewer improvements, sidewalk and other
necessary appurtenant work, and to assess the benefiting properties for all or a portion of the cost of
the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429;
NOS' TH.EAEIFORE, BE IT BEREEY RESOLVED B THE CITY CO UNCLE OF
MONTICELLO, MAWES'OTA: that the proposed improvement be referred to WSB & Associates
Inc. for study and that they are instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising
the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-
effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
