City Council Resolution 2005-14CITY OF MONTICELLO WRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-14 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS MEADOW OAK AVENUE EXTENSION PROJECT NO. 2005-5C WHEREAS, after due Notice of Public Hearing on the construction of proposed improvements to Meadow Oak Avenue by the extension of Meadow Oak Avenue from its most westerly point to CSAR 18 by the construction of a 40 foot street with concrete curb and gutter, curb replacement and lane widening at the intersection of Meadow Oak Avenue and CSAH 75, storm sewer construction, sewer and water utility improvements and other appurtenant work in the City of Monticello, Minnesota, a hearing on said improvements was duly held and the City Council heard all persons desiring to be heard on the matter and fully considered the same; and WHEREAS, at said hearing there was available a reasonable estimate of the amount to be assessed and a description of the methodology as attached hereto as Exhibit A, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Monticello, Minnesota as follows: 1. Said improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report. 2. It is advisable, expedient and necessary that said improvements as described in the Notice of Hearing thereon be constructed, and the same are hereby ordered made. 3. The improvements described in said Notice of Hearing are hereby designated and shall be known as the Meadow Oak Avenue extension, Improvement Project No. 2005-05C. 4. The consulting engineers, WSB & Associates, Inc. are hereby directed to prepared final plans and specifications for said improvements. 5. The City Council shall let the contract for all or part of the work for said improvements or order all or part of the work done by day labor or otherwise as authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.041, Subdivision 2 within one year of the date of this resolution ordering said improvements.
