RESOLUTION NO. 2005-8
RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING
MEADOW OAK AVENUE EXTENSION PROJECT NO. 2005-05C
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 13, 2004, a report has been
prepared by WSB and Associates with reference to the proposed improvement of Meadow Oak
Avenue by the extension of Meadow Oak Avenue from its most westerly point to CSAH 18 by
construction of a 40 foot street with concrete curb and gutter, curb replacement and lane widening at
the intersection of Meadow Oak Avenue and CSAH 75, storm sewer construction and sewer and
water utility improvements and other appurtenant work, and this report was received by the City
Council on January 24, 2005, and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary,
cost-effective, and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT R ESOL VED B Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTI CELLO,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and
the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of
$662,720.
2. A public hearing will be held on such proposed improvement on the 14' day of February,
2005 in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 7 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give
mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
