RESOLUTION NO. 2005-21A
RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY REPORT
HILLSIDE FARMS STORM SEWER OUTLET
WHEREAS, The City Council deems it necessary and expedient that the City of Monticello,
Minnesota, construct certain improvements to -wit: construction of a storm sewer outlet for the
Hillside Farms watershed by construction of storm sewer outlet from the Hillside Farms regional
pond to the Rolling Woods pond as described in the preliminary report prepared by WSB &
Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, and
WHEREAS, The Council has been advised by the consulting engineers that said Hillside Farms
Storm Sewer Outlet Improvements, Project No. 2004-7C are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible
and should best be made as proposed, and the consulting engineer's report to this effect has
heretofore been received by the Council, and filed with the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to fund project costs through the use of utility trunk funds and not special
assessments therefore, no public hearing is necessary;
NO W THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED B Y THE CITY CO UNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA that the feasibility report prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc. on the
above improvement is hereby accepted and WSB & Associates, Inc is authorized to prepared plans
and specifications to construct a storm sewer outlet from the Hillside Farms regional pond to the
Rolling Woods Pond using Option #2, directional boring as detailed in the feasibility report.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 28' day of February, 2005.
