RESOLUTION NO. 2005-48
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
MEADOW OAK AVENUE EXTENSION, PROJECT NO. 2005-5C AND
A PORTION OF THE CSAH 18/I-94 INTERCHANGE PROJECT NO. 2004-1C
WHEREAS, WSB & Associates, the consulting engineers for the City have prepared final plans and
specifications for the extension of Meadow Oak Avenue form the current termini to CSAH 18 and the
reconstruction of a segment of CSAH 18 from the proposed Meadow Oak Avenue to School
Boulevard and CSAH 39 from CSAH 75 to Hart Boulevard as part of the CSAH 18/I-94 Interchange
Project No. 2004-1 in the City, and such plans and specifications have been presented to the Council
for approval,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED B Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELL O, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper and in the
Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under
such approved plans and specifications.
The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less than
three weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state
that bids will be publicly opened on June 1, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the City Hall and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City for 5% of the amount
of such bid.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 25' day of April, 2005.
