City Council Resolution 2005-44ACITY OF MONTICELLO WRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-44A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CHELSEA ROAD EXTENSION ( 90TH STREET TO CSAH 39) AND SCHOOL BOULEVARD (CHELSEA ROAD TO 1330 FEET SOUTH) AND NORTHWEST LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN, CITY PROJECT NO. 2005-11C WHEREAS, the consulting engineers for the City have prepared final plans and specifications for the construction of Chelsea Road from 90" Street to CSAH 3, realignment of existing 901h Street and the construction of 1330 feet of School Boulevard from the intersection of Chelsea Road to 1330 feet south, construction of storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water main as necessary and the construction of the northwest area lift station and force main and other necessary appurtenant work, Improvement Project no. 2005-11 C in the City and such plans and specifications have been presented to the Council for approval, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED B Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved with the lift station be moved closer to Chelsea Road, the removal of the landscaping element, removal of the ghost road and placement of the pathway on one side of Chelsea Road and ordered placed on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less than three weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly opened on May 6, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Monticello City Hall and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 5% of the amount of such bids.
