RESOLUTION NO. 2005-68A
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS
2005 CORE STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2005 -IC
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of River Street from
Chestnut Street to Otter Creek Road along with Willow Street, Sandy Lane and Chestnut Street by
the widening of said roadways, reconstruction of paving surface, installation of concrete curb and
gutter, utility repair work where needed and installation of storm sewer improvement and other
necessary work, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED B Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, Minnesota in the name of the City of Monticello
for the base bid and Alternate #3 for the 2005 Core Street Improvement Project No.2005-IC
according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Administrator.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
