RESOLUTION 2005-63
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, American Legion Post No. 260 has submitted an application to the City Council of
Monticello for the issuance of a charitable gambling license to conduct charitable gambling
activities at 304 Elm Street
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed to the
gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the application of
American Legion Post No. 260 for a charitable gambling license is hereby approved and the State
Gambling Control Board is authorized to process the application.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 13th day of June, 2005.
