City Council Resolution 2005-54WRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-54 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID CHELSEA ROAD EXTENSION (90TH STREET TO CSAH 39) AND SCHOOL BOULEVARD (CHELSEA ROAD TO 1330 FEET SOUTH) PROJECT NO. 2005-11C WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of Chelsea Road from 90th Street to CSAH 39, realignment of existing 90th Street and the construction of 1330 feet of School Boulevard from the intersection of Chelsea Road to 1330 feet south, construction storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water main as necessary and the construction of the Northwest Area Lift Station and Force Main and other necessary appurtenant work, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: CONTRACTOR TOTAL BASE Bill BASE BID & ALT #1 BASE BID & ALT #2 R.L. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc. of St. Cloud, Minnesota in the name of the City of Monticello for the construction of Chelsea Road from 90th Street to CSAH 39, realignment of existing 90th Street and the construction of 1330 feet of School Boulevard from the intersection of Chelsea Road to 1330 feet south, construction storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water main as necessary and the construction of the Northwest Area Lift Station and Force Main and other necessary appurtenant work according to the plans and specifications thereof approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
