City Council Resolution 2005-116 (2)RESOLUTION NO. 2005-116 CITY OF MONTICELLO RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF CEDAR STREET RIGHT OF WAY AND DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WHEREAS, a public hearing on the vacation of the drainage and utility easements over the lots in the Monticello Travel Center Addition and a portion of the Cedar Street right of way was held on October 24, 2005 at 7 p.m. at the Monticello City Hall; and NO W THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED B Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTI CELLO, MINNESOTA: that the following described easement and right-of-way area be vacated: Drainage and utility easements over the lots in the Monticello Travel Center, according to said plat on file and of record in the Office of the County Recorder, Wright County, Minnesota. AND Vacation of street right-of-way described as follows: That part of Cedar Street lying in Lot A of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 121,Range 25, Wright County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 5, Block 1, Monticello Travel Center, according to the plat thereof, on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder, Wright County, Minnesota; thence South 89 degrees, 14 minutes 00 seconds West, plat bearing, along the north line of said Lot 5, Block 1, said line also being the south line of said Lot A of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, a distance of 44.14 feet to the actual point of beginning, said point being on the existing westerly right of way line of Cedar Street; thence return North 89 degrees 14 minutes 00 seconds East, a distance of 44.14 feet; thence North 23 degrees 17 minutes 29 seconds East, a distance of 20.00 feet; thence North 27 degrees 32 minutes 48 seconds East, a distance of 50.80 feet to the southeasterly extension of the southerly right-of-way line of Oakwood Drive; thence North 47 degrees 56 minutes 00 seconds West, along said southeasterly extension, a distance of 74.44 feet to the existing westerly right-of-way of Cedar Street; thence southerly along said westerly right-of-way, a distance of 115.70 feet to the point of beginning, containing 4,911 square feet.
