RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT
CSAH 18/I-94 INTERCHANGE, CITY PROJECT NO. 2004 -IC
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of improvements for the CSAH
18/I-94 Interchange as outlined in Project No. 2004-1C, bids were received, opened, tabulated and the
following bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids:

WHEREAS, the bid of R. L. Larson Excavating, of St. Cloud, Minnesota in the amount of
$8,275,988.16 for the construction of said improvements in accordance with the plans and
specifications and advertisement for bids is the lowest responsible bidder and shall be and hereby is
accepted, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of
Monticello.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been executed.
