RESOLUTION NO. 2005-89
REQUESTING MN/DOT TO CONDUCT A SPEED STUDY
ON SCHOOL BOULEVARD FROM CSAH 18 TO TH 25
WHEREAS, THIS RESOLUTION, was made this 22nd day of August 2005 by the City of
Monticello in Wright County, Minnesota. The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called
the "City,"
WHEREAS, the traffic and pedestrian characteristics of School Blvd. have changed with the
opening of new commercial/retail business;
WHEREAS, the traffic volume and pedestrian traffic on School Blvd. is continuing to increase;
WHEREAS, the "City" is requesting a speed study be completed on School Blvd. from CSAH
18 toTH25;
WHEREAS, the "City" has contacted the State of Minnesota (Mn/DOT), who has agreed
complete the study prior to October 1, 2005;
NOW, THEREFORE, ITIS HEREBYRESOLVED: That the "City" is requesting the State of
Minnesota (Mn/DOT) to conduct a speed study on School Blvd. from CSAH 18 to TH 25.
Adopted by the City of Monticello City Council the 22nd day of August 2005.
