RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
HIDDEN FOREST/SUNSET RIDGE DEVELOPMENT
CITY PROJECT NO. 2005-3C
WHEREAS, it is proposed to extend sanitary sewer and water main along CSAR 39 to serve the
Hidden Forest/Sunset Ridge developments and to construct a storm sewer outlet to extend across
CSAH 39 to the Mississippi River and other appurtenant work subject to the developer providing a
$14,000 deposit to pay for costs relating to the feasibility report and to assess the benefited property
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA: that the proposed improvement be referred to WSB & Associates, Inc. for study and
that they are instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible
and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement,
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
