RESOLUTION NO. 2004-40
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Monticello Girls Fast Pitch Association has submitted an application to the City
Council of Monticello for the issuance of a one day charitable gambling license to conduct a
raffle at the Monticello Softball Fields in Monticello, Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, the Council is not opposed to the gambling license being issued by the State
Gambling Control Board.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the application by the
Monticello Girls Fast Pitch Association for a one day charitable gambling license at the
Monticello Softball fields is hereby approved and the State Gambling Control Board is
authorized to process the application.
Adopted by the City Council this 24th day of May, 2004.
