RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
2005 CORE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
PROJECT NO. 2005 -IC
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Area 3 of the Overall Core Street Reconstruction Program,
which is the area lying west of Chestnut Street and north of Broadway (CSAH 75) by reconstruction of
the roadway, street widening, curb and gutter, stormwater improvements and other appurtenant work
and to assess the benefitted property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429,
NO W THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED B Y THE "T Y CO UNCIL OF MONTICELL O,
MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study and that he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be
made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended.
