CITY OF MONTICELLO
ACCEPT FEASIBILITY REPORT AND SET PUBLIC HEARING DATE
PRAIRIE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT NO. 2003-20C
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 8, 2003, a report has been
prepared by WSB & Associates with reference to improvement of Prairie Road between CSAH 75 and
the proposed plat of Timber Ridge 3`d Addition by the reconstruction of the roadway to an urban
roadway section with concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, extension of sanitary sewer and watermain to
serve the Timber Ridge development, storm sewer improvements and other appurtenant work and the
report was received by the Council on April 12, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost-
effective, and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELL O,
MINNESOTA,
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $762,530.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of April, 2004 in
the council chambers at city hall at 7 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of
such hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 12" day of April, 2004.
