RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY STUDY
FOR 2004 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
PROJECT NO. 2004-06C
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Area 2A including Fairway Drive, Club View Drive, Bunker
Circle, Center Circle, Sandtrap Circle, Eagle Circle and Nampa Circle; Area 2B including Meadow
Oak Avenue, Meadow Oak Lane, White Oak Circle, Acorn Circle, Maplewood Circle, Red Oak
Lane, Red Oak Circle, Meadow Lane, Oakview Lane and Meadow Oak Drive; Area 2C which
includes Sandberg Road from Chelsea Road to Oakwood Drive and Area 2D which includes School
Boulevard from Pine Street to Fenning Avenue by reconstruction of the street surface, repair of
existing utilities where needed, repair of curb and gutter where need, construction of a trunk
watermain across I-94; upgrade to the Meadow Oaks Lift Station, construction of a storm sewer
outlet from the Meadow Oak Pond across I-94 to the Sunset Pond development and other appurtenant
work and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELL0,
MINNESOTA:
That the City of Monticello accepts the Overall Street Reconstruction Program as outlined by
WSB and Associates in their reported dated February 9,2004.
2. That the proposed improvement areas for 2004 street reconstruction be referred to WSB and
Associates for study and they are instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to the whether the proposed improvement is
necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or
in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended.
