City Council Resolution 2004-62CITY OF MONTICELLO RESOLUTION NO. 2004. X 6 2 RELATING TO THE INSTALLAT110N OF AN INTERCONNECTED TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM AT TRUNK HIGHWAY 25 AND SCHOOL BOULEVARD CITY PROJECT NO. 2004-19C WHEREAS, THIS RESOLUTION, was made this 9th day of August, 2004 by the City of Monticello in Wright County, Minnesota. The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called the "City," WHEREAS, the "City" has requested installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of TH 25 with School Boulevard; WHEREAS, the "City" has prepared a Signal Justification Report, which determined that the signal is warranted and justified; WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota is in concurrence with this determination; WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota will fund 50% of the construction costs, per their standard cost participation policy; WHEREAS, the "City" will be responsible for the remaining costs, including power and minor maintenance; WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota will be responsible for timing the signal system and performing major maintenance; WHEREAS, these construction and maintenance issues will be addressed in a Signal Agreement between the "City" and the State of Minnesota; WHEREAS, a signed Signal Agreement is required prior to letting. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: That the "City" is willing to enter into a signal agreement with the State of Minnesota.
