RESOLUTION NO. 2004-61
RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT
AND PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SCHOOL
BOULEVARD, CEDAR STREET AND DEEGAN AVENUE
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve School Boulevard, Cedar Street and Deegan Avenue in the area
of the Jefferson Commons development and Monticello Business Center 3`d Addition by the
construction of medians for turn lanes, sidewalk, street lighting and tree planting, and
WHEREAS, this project is contingent upon receipt of a petition for public improvements by the
affected property owners and providing the necessary deposits,
NO W THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED B Y THE CITY CO UNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to WSB and Associates for study and that he instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective and feasible and as to whether it should best be
made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended. WSB and Associates is directed to prepare plan and specifications for
said work and to submit such plans and specifications to the Council for approval.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 9t" day of August, 2004.
