RESOLUTION NO. 2004-80
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD
WHEREAS, Minnesota Election Laws 203B.13 provides authority to a municipality to establish an
Absentee Ballot Board in accordance with the provisions of the law, and
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello wishes to establish an Absentee Ballot Board to aid in the timely
process of absentee ballots,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO that an Absentee Ballot Board be established as provided for by law for the purpose
of reviewing all absentee ballots and marking the absentee ballot envelopes as "accepted" or
"rejected."
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 25'1' day of October, 2004.
