RESOLUTION NO. 2004-84
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT
AND AUTHORIZE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE EXTENSION OF CHELSEA ROAD WEST FROM 90TH STREET
TO COUNTY ROAD 39 AND SCHOOL BOULEVARD FROM CHELSEA ROAD
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Chelsea Road by extending it west from 90" Street to
County Road 39 and to improve School Boulevard from Chelsea Road to a point approximately
1,000 feet south thereof by the installation bituminous roadway, curb and gutter, installation of a
sanitary sewer lift station, utilities and other appurtenant work and to assess the benefitted
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 429; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MONTICELLO, that the proposed improvement be referred to WSB & Associates for
study and that he will report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective and
feasible and whether it should be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended and the Council
hereby designates WSB & Associates as the engineer for this improvement and they are
authorized to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements.
