ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS
RIVER STREET SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT
PROJECT NO. 2003 -IOC
WHEREAS, under Improvement Project No. 2003-10C the City improved the sanitary sewer system by
replacement of 630 feet of existing sanitary sewer line from the new manhole connection being
constructed from the Monticello Hospital to River Street and extending to the east and all other
necessary appurtenant work,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work constructed completed under this project and
finds it to be in conformance with the approved plans and specifications for the same,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO, that the improvements constructed under Improvement Project No. 2003-1 OC are
hereby accepted by the City of Monticello contingent upon the contractor submitting the following:
* Satisfactory showing that the contractor has complied with the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax.
* Evidence in the form of an affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of the
contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured.
* Consent of Surety to Final Payment certification from the contractor's surety.
* Two year maintenance bond.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 13th day of December, 2004.
