RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION
OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
MEADOW OAKS SANITARY SEWER BYPASS
(SE DEVELOPMENT AREA)
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the sanitary sewer facilities to serve proposed
developments in the northeast and southeast areas of the city by installation of a
forcemain along CSAH 75 to bypass the Mississippi Drive sanitary sewer system and to
complete the watermain loop along CSAR 75 and to assess the benefitted property for all
or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NO W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED B Y THE CITY CO UNCIL OF MONTICELL O,
MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvement be referred to WSB & Associates for
study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising
the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary,
cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended.
