RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, American Legion Post #260 has submitted an application to the City Council of
Monticello for the renewal of a charitable gambling license to conduct gambling activities at the
American Legion Club at 304 Elm Street, and
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the City Council is not opposed to the
renewal of a charitable gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA that American Legion Post #260 application for a charitable gambling license at the
American Legion Club at 304 Elm Street is hereby approved, and the State Gambling Control Board
is authorized to process the application.
Adopted by the City Council this 14th day of April, 2003.
