RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS
PHASE I CORE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM PROJECT NO. 2002-14C
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 24t' day of March, 2003, fixed a date for a
Council hearing on the proposed improvement of Phase I of the Core Street Reconstruction Program
encompassing the area bounded on the north by CSAH 75, on the south by 7"' Street, TH 25 on the east
and Elm Street on the west by street reconstruction, upgrades and repairs to sewer and water utilities, storm
sewer, repairs to curb and gutter where needed and other appurtenant work, and
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and hearing
was held thereon on April 14, 2003 at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to
be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
I . Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective and feasible.
2. The feasibility report for Phase I Core Area Street Reconstruction is hereby accepted.
3. WSB & Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall
prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
4. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the City's share of the cost of the
improvement from the proceeds of a tax exempt bond in an amount not to exceed $3,002,205.
Adopted by the City Council this 14"' day of April , 2003.
