RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
RIVER STREET SANITARY SEWER
CITY PROJECT NO. 2003 -IOC
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the sanitary sewer system by
replacement of 630 feet of existing sanitary sewer line from the new manhole connection being constructed
from the Monticello Hospital to River Street and extending to the east and all other necessary appurtenant
work, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that G.L. Contracting of Medina, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder,
NO W THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED BY THE CITY CO UNCIL OF THE
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with G.L. Contracting of Medina, Minnesota for the improvement of the sanitary sewer
system by replacement of 630 feet of existing sanitary sewer line from the new manhole connection
being constructed from the Monticello Hospital to River Street and extending to the east and all
other necessary appurtenant work according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by
the City Council and on file at the city offices.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids except that eh deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
