RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT
PROJECT NO. 2002-14C
CORE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PHASE I
WHEREAS, it is proposed to implement a program to reconstruct streets within the City of Monticello
and to designate an area encompassing Phase I of the improvement program which would include the area
south of Broadway (CSAR 75) to 7" Street between Chestnut Street and Pine Street (TH 25) by the
reconstruction of existing street surface, installation of curb and gutter where necessary, utility replacement
where necessary and all other appurtenant work, and to assess the benefitted property for all or a portion of
the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvement be referred to WSB & Associates for
study and that they are instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
