RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Church of St. Henry has submitted an application to the City Council of Monticello for
the issuance of a charitable gambling license to conduct gambling activities at their fall festival on
September 13-14, 2003 in Monticello, Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the City Council is not opposed to the renewal
of a charitable gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELL0,
MINNESOTA that application of the Church of St. Henry for a charitable gambling license is hereby
approved, and the State Gambling Control Board is authorized to process the application.
Adopted by the City Council this 14th day of July, 2003.
