RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
MONTICELLO HOSPITAL/RIVER STREET
SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, a feasibility report has been prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc. with reference to the
improvement of the sanitary sewer system by replacement of 630 feet of existing sanitary sewer line from
the new manhole connection being constructed from the Monticello Hospital to River Street and extending
to the east, and this report was received by the Council on June 23, 2003, and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary,
cost-effective and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELL0, MINNESOTA
1. The Council will consider the improvement of the sanitary sewer system in accordance with the
report at an estimated cost of $132,753 to be funded from the city's utility funds.
2. WSB & Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall
prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
