RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING
PROJECT NO. 2002-14C
CORE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PHASE I
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted February 10, 2003, the City Engineer was
authorized to prepare a report with reference to Phase I of the Core Street Reconstruction Program, which
includes the area south of Broadway (CSAH 75) to 7t" Street between Chestnut Street and Pine Street (TH
25) by the reconstruction of existing street surface, installation of curb and gutter where necessary, utility
replacement where necessary and all other appurtenant work,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED B Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $3,655,640.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14" day of April, 2003 in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of
such hearing and improvement as required by law.
