RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
BRIAR OAKES POND RESTORATION
CITY PROJECT NO. 2003-1IC
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Briar Oakes Storm Water Pond restoration located
in the northeast corner of the Briar Oakes 2"d Addition between Briar Oakes Drive and Briar Oakes boulevard
which would restore the slopes of the storm water pond to meet the minimum 4:1 grade and restore vegetation
to a more manageable height and all other necessary appurtenant work, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Sunram Construction of Corcoran, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder,

MINNESOTA:
The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with Sunram Construction of Corcoran, Minnesota for the improvement to the Briar Oakes
Storm Water Pond restoration located in the northeast corner of the Briar Oakes 2nd Addition between
Briar Oakes Drive and Briar Oakes boulevard which would restore the slopes of the storm water pond
to meet the minimum 4:1 grade and restore vegetation to a more manageable height and all other
necessary appurtenant according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council
and on file at the city offices.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
