RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS
MARVIN ROAD FORCE MAIN AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 2003 -OIC
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement to the sanitary sewer system by construction
of 575 lineal feet of sanitary sewer forcemain, 750 lineal feet of trunk watermain and 1000 lineal feet of storm
sewer forcemain along Marvin Road across Interstate 94 to Minnesota Street and all other necessary appurtenant
work, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that R. L. Larson Excavating, Inc. of St. Cloud, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with R.L. Larson Excavating, Inc. of St. Cloud, Minnesota for the improvement to the sanitary
sewer system by construction of 575 lineal feet of sanitary sewer forcemain, 750 lineal feet of trunk
watermain and 1000 lineal feet of storm sewer forcemain along Marvin Road across Interstate 94 to
Minnesota Street and all other necessary appurtenant work according to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the City Council and on file at the city offices.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the City Council this 13th day of October, 2003.
