RESOLUTION NO. 2002-40
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, The Church of St. Henry has submitted an application to the City Council of Monticello
for the issuance of a charitable gambling license to conduct gambling at their fall festival to be held on
September 14`x' and 15`x' in Monticello, Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed to the gambling
license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the application of the
Church of St. Henry for a charitable gambling license is hereby approved and the State Gambling
Control Board is authorized to process the application.
