A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COMMISSIONER OF
TRANSPORTATION TO SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE
PROPOSED AT GRADE RAILROAD CROSSING FOR THE 7r1I STREET
EXTENSION TO COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 75.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Monticello has reviewed the Railroad
Crossing Study Report, dated November 21, 2001;
WHEREAS, the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway has denied the proposed at grade
railroad crossing for the proposed extension of 7`I' Street to County State Aid Highway
75;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City of Monticello supports and requests that the
Commissioner- of Transportation schedule a public hearing for the proposed at grade
railroad crossing for the 7`I' Street extension to County State Aid Highway 75.
