CITY OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT,
CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PROJECT NO. 2002-06C
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted June 10, 2002, a report has been prepared by
WSB & Associates with reference to the improvement of Cedar Street from Dundas Road to a point
approximately 1,100 feet south of School Boulevard or to the north edge of Kjellberg's East mobile home
park and the improvement of Dundas Road from Cedar Street westerly to County Road 117 by the
construction of street improvements, utilities, storm drainage improvements and other appurtenant work and
this report was received by the Council on August 12, 200
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,505,000.
2. WSB & Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement and shall prepare plans
and specifications for the making of such improvement.
3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement at such time as the necessary funds to
complete the plan preparation are provided to the City. At such time the City Administrator shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 12' day of August, 2002.
