RESOLUTION VACATING PUBLIC EASEMENTS IN
OUTLOT F, GROVELAND ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello has determined to vacate all utility and drainage easements in favor of the
City of Monticello on Outlot F of the Groveland Addition Plat recorded August 11, 2000 as Document
Number A716536 in the Wright County Recorder's Office,
WHEREAS, the Monticello City Council held a public hearing at 7 p.m. on August 26, 2002 at the
Monticello City Hall after proper published and posted notice given by the City and all interested persons
were given an opportunity to be heard, and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it is in the City of Monticello's best interest to vacate the easements
on Outlot F as shown on the plat of Groveland Addition, Document Number A716536,
WHEREAS, the City Council concurred unanimously in this resolution,
NO W THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED B Y THE CITY CO UNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MONTICELLO that the easements platted as part of Outlot F, Groveland Addition are vacated
contingent upon replacement easements being granted as part of the plat of the Groveland Commercial Center
and contingent upon the developer indemnifying the City against liability associated with any City maintenance
of utility lines lying within the easement.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 26"' day of August, 2002.
