RESOLUTION NO. 2001-32
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
CEDAR STREET BETWEEN DUNDAS ROAD AND OAKWOOD DRIVE
PROJECT 2000-18C
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the council adopted November 13, 2000, a report has been
prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of Cedar Street between
Dundas Road and Oakwood Drive by the redesign and installation of street improvements, sidewalk,
pathway, realign existing water main, storm sewer and other appurtenant work, and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary,
cost-effective, and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $737,300.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14" day of May, 2001 in
the council chambers of city hall at 7 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
