ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS
RIVER FOREST PHASE I
PROJECT NO. 98-18P
WHEREAS, under the terms of a development agreement dated October 27, 1998 between the
City of Monticello and J. Edwin Chadwick, LLC, the developer provided for the installation of
sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, grading, bituminous streets with curb and gutter, street
signs and all appurtenant work for the residential development known as River Forest Addition
Phase I, and
WHEREAS, Condition #7 of the development agreement provides for the developer to guarantee
the improvements installed for a period of one year following City's acceptance of the
improvements,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work constructed within the River Forest
Subdivision Phase I and finds it to be in conformance with the approved plans and specifications
for the same,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MONTICELLO, that the improvements constructed within the River Forest Subdivision
Phase I are hereby accepted by the City of Monticello and that the developer has submitted
security in an amount and form acceptable to the City Engineer to guarantee the work for one
year from the date of acceptance of said work.
