RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Choirboys Elk River Land of Lakes has submitted an application to
the City Council of Monticello for the issuance of a charitable gambling license to
conduct gambling at JP's Annex located in Monticello, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed
to the gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the
Choirboys Elk River Land of Lakes organization's application for license issuance
listed above is hereby approved, and the State Gambling Control Board is
authorized to process the application.
Adopted by the City Council this 26th day of January, 1998.
