AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE S. CHAPTER 6, SECTION 8-6-10 OF THE
MONTICELLO CITY ORDINANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: Section 8-6-10 is added reading as follows:
RULES AND REGULATIONS: City Council shall adopt rules and regulations for
Riverside Cemetery. The Monticello Parks Commission shall be responsible for
reviewing and making recommendations on an annual basis to the City Council
concerning the rules and regulations and the fees charged for cemetery services.
All rules and regulations governing Riverside Cemetery shall be as set forth in the
policies document approved by the Monticello City Council October 22, 2001 and all
revisions thereto as approved by the City Council.
Section 2: This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 22nd day of October, 2001.
