AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 3-5, ITEM [D] 9. (F); OF
THE MONTICELLO ZONING ORDINANCE BY ESTABLISHING DRIVEWAY WIDTH
REGULATIONS.
THE CITY OF MONTICELLO DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION I: Title 10, Chapter 3, Section 3-5, Item [D] 9. (f) of the City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(f) The maximum driveway width between the public street and the property line
shall not exceed twenty-four (24) feet with the following exceptions:
1. Within all districts, a five foot radius curb may be constructed at the public
street in addition to the maximum driveway width allowed.
2. Curb cut access in industrial and commercial zoning districts may exceed
twenty-four (24) feet with the approval of the City Engineer and the
Zoning Administrator. Denial by the City Engineer and Zoning
Administrator of curb cut access in excess of twenty-four (24) feet may be
appealed following the procedures outlined in Chapter 23 of the zoning
ordinance.
SECTION II: Effective Date This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and publication according to law.
ADOPTED by the Monticello City Council this 10`' day of January, 2000.
