RESOLUTION NO. 2015-064
REJECTING ALL BIDS AND RE- BIDDING PROJECT FOR THE TH25fCSAH 75
IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT NO. 100009
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids, three bids were received, opened, and
tabulated, and the following bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids:

Engineer's Estimate i $1,144,837.80
WHEREAS, the low bid is 21.6% higher or approximately $258,341 more than the Engineer's
estimate; and
WHEREAS, the City if Monticello reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any
informalities in bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interests of the City. ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBYRESOLYED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OFMONTICELLO:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to reject all bids
submitted for the construction of said improvements and rebid the project for 2016
construction.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids.
