RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Lions Club of Monticello has submitted applications to the City
Council of Monticello for the issuance of charitable gambling licenses to conduct
gambling at Hawk's Sports Bar and Grill and at Joyner Lanes located in
Monticello, MN; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed
to the gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the Lions
Club of Monticello applications for license issuance listed above are hereby
approved, and the State Gambling Control Board is authorized to process the
application.
Adopted by the City Council this 23rd day of February, 1998.
