RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Wright County Ducks Unlimited organization has submitted an
application to the City Council of Monticello for the issuance of a charitable
gambling license to conduct gambling at the banquet on May 4, 1998, located at the
Monticello Roller Rink in Monticello, MN; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed
to the gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the Wright
County Ducks Unlimited application for license issuance listed above is hereby
approved, and the State Gambling Control Board is authorized to process the
application.
Adopted by the City Council this 23rd day of February, 1998.
