RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
TH 25 IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT 96-04C
WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the City Council, a report has been prepared by the City
Engineer, WSB and Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the TH 25 corridor
from I-94 by construction of street improvements, traffic signal installation and other necessary
appurtenances, and this report was received by the Council on May 13, 1996, and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective, and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report
and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $1,725,700.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of May,
1998 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by
law.
