RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR 7TH STREET PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted October 27, 1997, a report has been
prepared by Bret Weiss of WSB & Associates with reference to the improvement consisting of
extension of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, and roadway improvements necessary to
serve the St. Henry's Church property; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost-effective, and feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the said improvements in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $1,166,700.
2. Bret Weiss of WSB & Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this
improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such
improvement.
