RESOLUTION 98- 30
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Church of St. Henry has submitted an application to the City Council of
Monticello for the issuance of a charitable gambling license to conduct gambling at their Fall
Festival to be held on September 19 and 20 in Monticello, MN; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed to the
gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the Church of St.
Henry's application for license issuance listed above is hereby approved, and the State Gambling
Control Board is authorized to process the application.
Adopted by the City Council this 10th day of August, 1998.
